WHERE TO STAY
Stamford Marriott Hotel & Spa
If you're coming from NYC, we suggest taking the New Haven Metro North Train from Grand Central to Stamford CT. We have a small room block at the Stamford Marriott Hotel & Spa. Last day to book is 6/6/2025!
We will be providing day-of transportation from the Marriott to the wedding & back for anyone who needs it! It's about a 20 minute drive from the Roger Sherman Inn.
Airbnb or VRBO
Feel free to take a look at Airbnb or VRBO in the surrounding areas, we suggest Stamford, Westport, Norwalk, and Redding, or nearby NY towns like Pound Ridge and Bedford. Rentals are more limited in these areas.
Additional Hotels
Stamford has a lot of hotel options and is very easy to access for those who don't have a car.
We also suggest looking in Norwalk, Westport, or Danbury.
FLIGHTS
JFK or LGA
Flights are available to JFK or LGA (although JFK has the most direct flights if coming from LAX!). If you're visiting from out of town, we suggest spending some time enjoying NYC and taking the Metro-North to CT on the New Haven Line. Ride share and car rentals are also easily available from both airports!
FAQ
When should I RSVP?
We ask that you RSVP as soon as you're able to so we can organize with our vendors, but the cut-off date is May 1st, 2025. If you have not RSVP'd by this date, we'll have to count you as a no.
Are kids invited?
We have decided to have our welcome party and wedding day as adult-only events. If you need help with child care, we're happy to provide some suggestions from the area, just let us know!
What time does the ceremony begin?
Ceremony will begin at 4:15pm! The ceremony, cocktail hour, & reception will all take place at the inn.
What is the dress code?
Garden party / summer formal! Think florals, linen, fun colors. The ceremony will be on grass, so please keep that in mind but wear whatever makes you feel great while celebrating with us!
Are photos allowed?
We ask for guests to be fully present during the ceremony (we promise to keep it short!). We have an amazing professional photographer capturing the ceremony. Other than that, please feel free!
How can I add my meal?
The Roger Sherman offers different plated options for you to choose from the day-of the wedding. We ask if you have any specific dietary restrictions, please include those when you RSVP or reach out to Cameron or Diana directly.
When is the welcome party?
We'll be having casual welcome drinks, light bites, & sweet treats at the The Roger Sherman on Friday 6/20 from 7-9:30pm in lieu of a formal rehearsal dinner. No dress code, we're just happy to have you there!
